Follow these easy steps to build your own campfire and feel like you are camping right in your own home!
What You’ll Need
- Red, orange, yellow tissue paper
- Battery operated tea light
- Brown construction paper
- Clear plastic cup
- Glue
- Scissors
- Popsicle stick
- Cotton ball
Instructions
Step 1: Cut the red, orange, and yellow tissue paper up into small squares.
Step 2: Scrunch up each tiny square of tissue paper and glue it to the outside of your clear plastic cup. Turn the cup upside down. Continue this until the entire cup is covered in tissue paper.
Step 3: Next, make your marshmallow on a stick. Glue a cotton ball to the end of a popsicle stick.
Step 4: Cut about 12-15 strips of the brown construction paper. Use a brown marker or pencil crayon to add details to your strips so they look like logs.
Step 5: Place your logs so that they are sticking outwards from the centre. Next, place your LED candle in the middle, and put the plastic cup on top of it.
Step 6: Take your craft into a dark room and watch it glow like a real campfire!
