Fox Mountain Camping Park

Fox Mountain Camping Park is a father/daughter owned large camping park at the top of Aylesford mountain overlooking the Annapolis Valley. We specialize in hosting festivals, catering to large or small organized groups, off road enthusiasts, and daily campers. We have over 500+ numbered sites, 90 fully serviced sites, 100 seasonal camping sites, and some rental trailers/cabins. We have an outdoor stage, clean flush toilets and showers, a canteen (certain dates and hours), picnic tables, fire pits, and access to off road trails (ATV, SXS. horseback riding, bicycles, nature hikes).

In 1994 Neil Tupper had a vision of a huge camping park that could accommodate a large group. Neil’s "right hand man” and partner was his daughter Heidi. Previously owning a large hog farm and Christmas tree operation, Neil had taught his children many skills. Carpentry, operating equipment and a love for creating. Together, they used these skills to build the park from the ground up. He started off with land and one small building that he lived in, some old farm equipment and a lot of skill to build and create. His daughter Heidi is now passing these skills on to her 3 young daughters in hopes that someday they’ll want to partner up in the business. Some of the first events held here were 4X4 truck clubs, ATV clubs, boy scouts and girl guides events, motorcycle events, and his biggest accomplishment was the Fox Mountain Bluegrass festival. In the 20 years of running and creating the festival Neil and his team were able to build it to one of the biggest Bluegrass festivals in the country, drawing people in from all over the world to attend!
Currently there are many other festivals and events that are hosted at the park.For example, the Fox Mountain Country Music Festival, Riverfest, Harvest festival, Pirate Off Road Nation, Nova Scotia Jeep Jamboree and other mud truck and ATV events. We host everything from family reunions to motorcycle groups.
